Come Away This Christmas
An Advent Morning for Women
Most of us spend December taking care of everyone else. The shopping, the meals, the concerts, the family get-togethers. It all lands on somebody, and a lot of the time that somebody is you.
We would love for you to take one morning for yourself. Come sing Christmas songs, hear a short message, be prayed for, make something pretty to take home, and sit down to a good lunch with other women. You’ll leave rested, and with a few ideas to make the rest of the month easier.
WHAT WE’LL DO TOGETHER
We’ll start with coffee and music. Sheila Ann will sing a few songs from her Christmas albums, and we’ll sing some carols together. If you’d rather just listen, that’s fine too.
Then she’ll share a short message on Emmanuel, God with us, a reminder that He’s with you on the tired, busy days of December and each day of the year.
We’ll have time to talk at our tables, and then we’ll pray together. If something is weighing on you this season, we’ll pray for you.
We’ll make simple and beautiful Christmas crafts you can take home, and you'll take the knowledge and instructions home if you want to make more.
Sheila Ann will also share some ideas for a calmer holiday, including easy, healthy dishes for when you’re hosting. You’ll get recipe cards to take home, and you can purchase items such as books or music if you want more resources or gift ideas.
And then we’ll sit down to lunch together, with plenty of time to enjoy it.

INTRODUCING...
Our Sessions and Speaker
December can be such a full month, and so many of us carry it on our shoulders without stopping to breathe.
I’m so looking forward to slowing down with you for a morning, singing the songs of the season, opening God’s Word together, and reminding each other that He is truly with us.
Come just as you are.
I’d love to meet you.
With love, Sheila Ann
Christmas Worship
Singing the carols and songs of the season together is making room to simply worship Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us.
A Message for the Season:
An encouraging word on what it means that God came to be with us, right in the middle of our busy lives.
Prayer Together:
Unhurried time to pray for one another and bring our hopes and burdens for the season to God.
A Craft to Take Home:
Each woman will make a simple, beautiful keepsake and a card with a special inscription to carry the morning home with her.
Lunch and Connection:
Share a relaxed lunch together, with time to talk, laugh, and get to know the women around the table.
A More Peaceful Holiday:
Come away with practical ideas and tips for healthy, delicious entertaining and a lighter, easier Christmas season.
Prayer and Fellowship
Share your needs during prayer times. This is a safe place where everyone is working on their own journey.
Many women find it powerful to learn that others share similar struggles and to hear the creative ways God brings hope amid the chaos of their lives.
We can’t wait to connect and grow with you!
Questions? We would love to help!
Can I bring someone?
Can we register a group from our church?
But I'm not crafty....
